Recent items

Use this widget to display recently modified items and pages, filtered by owner, status, or content type.

To configure the display of recent items and pages, perform the following:

  1. Drag the Recent items widget on the Dashboard.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the widget, click Edit.
  3. Under Content types, choose what kind of content items or pages you want to display in the widget. 
    Select one of the following:
    • All content types
      All pages and content items, including dynamic items, are displayed.
    • Selected content types only...
      Select which of the built-in and dynamic content items or pages you want to display.
  4. Under Modified by, select whether you want to display items or pages modified by the currently logged user or all recent items and pages.
  5. Under Statuses, choose if you want to display items in a particular workflow status.
    Select one of the following:
    • All statuses
      Items in all workflow statuses are displayed.
      For more information, see Types of statuses.
    • Selected statuses only...
      Select one or more workflow statuses.
      For example, you may want to display only items that are Awaiting approval or Awaiting publishing.
  6. Click Settings tab.
  7. Enter the title of the widget.
    For example, enter Items waiting for approval.
  8. Under Pagination, enter the number of items that you want to display in the widget in one page view of the widget.
  9. In Display filter by dropdown box, you can choose to display filtering buttons in the widget.
    Select one of the following:
    • - Don’t display filter -
      No filter buttons are displayed in the widget.
    • Status (Draft, Scheduled, etc.)
      The filter is not displayed, if you have selected to display items and pages with only one status.
    • User (All, My items)
      The filter is not displayed, if you have selected to display items modified by the currently logged user only.
  10. Click Save.
