NOTE: To deploy your Sitefinity CMS project to Windows Azure, you must first create and develop your project locally, using one of the other supported Windows platforms.

IMPORTANT: To successfully deploy Sitefinity CMS, your hosting provider must support .NET 4.5+ Framework and Full trust. You can find a list of Sitefinity’s official hosting partners on http://www.sitefinity.com/partners/hosting-partners.aspx.
You can run your website in any cloud environment that supports Windows Server role instances, such as RackSpace and Amazon AWS. In these scenarios, you can set up your website as part of a load-balanced environment.
Auto scaling in load-balanced scenarios is supported only for Windows Azure cloud service. In all other cloud IaaS providers Sitefinity CMS supports only the standard Network Load Balancing mode.

If you want to use Geo location API, you must use Microsoft SQL Server or SQL Express 2008 or higher. Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Express 2005, Oracle, and MySQL do not support Geo Location API.

IMPORTANT: If you are using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Express 2005, Oracle, or MySQL databases, disable Geo locations in the following way:
Silverlight settings are optional. You must configure your environment for Silverlight, only if you want to support browsers that do not support HTML5.
