By default, you see the By stage report. This report visualizes how many contacts pass through each of the stages to conversion:

The report helps you compare the number of contacts in each stage to conversion.
Depending on the status of the campaign, the By period reports provides you with different type of statistics and information. All reports contain the Before campaign chart, which represents the statistics of the conversion report you want to optimize for a period of time equal to the period of time that already passed since the campaign started. This may be the whole campaign tracking period if the campaign is completed.
NOTE: If there is not enough data accumulated for longer periods of time, the report displays just the available data.
The other reports you can see are During the campaign and Up to campaign end.

This graph illustrates how engagement rate changes over time. Engagement rate is the ratio between engaged and targeted contacts. That is, a percentage of how many contacts completed the engagement activity. Hovering over each point on the graph drills into details of the engagement rate and the period, for which it is calculated. You select the period of time and the granularity of the report.
You can also see all activities you scheduled when defining the campaign and whether they influenced engagement rate in subsequent days.
